Prometheus Technologies uses optional Google Analytics measurement only when you choose “Allow analytics”. The Google tag is not downloaded and no analytics information is sent to Google before that choice. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and advertising user-data signals remain disabled.
Google Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics records information such as pages viewed, approximate location, referring pages, device and browser details, scrolling and outbound-link activity. This helps us understand how the website is found and which content is useful. We do not send names, email addresses or project-enquiry contents to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_NBZN3LEEDR cookies to distinguish visits and maintain session information. These cookies can remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent or delete them sooner. Google provides the analytics service and may process information outside the UK under its applicable safeguards.
Necessary technology and your saved choice
The website and its hosting or security providers may use essential technical identifiers needed to deliver pages securely, balance traffic and prevent abuse. Cloudflare may use a short-lived __cf_bm cookie when its bot-management protection is applied.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser under pt-cookie-consent-v1, treated as expired after six months, and removed on your next visit. This storage is used only to remember the preference you requested, so the banner can disappear and your choice can be applied on later visits.
Email enquiries
The project form sends your message through the Prometheus Technologies hosting and business email service. It does not require a cookie. The website does not retain the enquiry body after delivery, although short-lived hashed security records are used to prevent automated abuse.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to allow or reject optional analytics. Rejecting after previously allowing analytics updates Google Consent Mode, removes the Google Analytics cookies that this site can access and reloads the page without the Google tag. Clearing browser storage will cause the choice banner to appear again.
